There is no daily homework...just a monthly reading log (20 minutes a day with two questions). This is not for a grade but DOJO points.
Our Reading block will start with a whole group lesson and then small groups/stations.

*Benchmark units are broken up into 3-4 weeks of instructionÂ
We will do the first week's test together each unit and then grade week 2 and the unit test which will have a writing component. These will be completed on the computer.
There will be a comprehension quiz and spelling test each Friday.
